What happens if CashYourTronics disagrees with the condition I selected during instant quote?
If once we inspect your item and determine it does not match yours, we will adjust your order accordingly, which might increase or decrease your order. If your offer changes for any reason, we will send you an email on the day of inspection with the new value and the reason we made any changes to your Instant Quote value. You will have 7 days to accept or reject this revised offer and if you choose to reject our revised offer, we’ll send your device back to you free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE: We will send you a reminder email on the 4th day after inspection reminding you to accept or reject our revised off. If we still do not hear back from you after 7 days, the new offer will automatically be accepted and we will process your item for payment at our revised price. We will NOT return your item to you after this 7 day period.
Why did I receive an email saying my item is worth less?
Your offer could have been lowered for a variety of reasons, but the top reasons are below and we will also always let you know the exact reason via email
Wrong Model – different model was sent in, than the instant quote
Bad ESN – your device isn’t clear for activation by a new user.
Condition Difference Downgrade from New – “NEW” condition is only meant to be used for products which are truly that – Brand New in a SEALED Box which has never been opened
How do I deactivate iOS 7 AFTER I send it to CashYourTronics?
Find My iPhone is automatically activated if you have iOS 7 or later installed on any of your Apple devices. As a result, activation is automatically blocked by a new user, which does not allow CashYourTronics to find a new owner for your device. Because of this CashYourTronics will not be able to honor the full Instant Quote value of your device if it has an activation lock on it from the Find My iPhonefeature.
Follow steps below to deactivate:
- Click All Devicesat the top and locate the device you sent to CashYourTronics
- After a few moments, iCloud will finish updating the location on each of your devices and the device you sent to CashYourTronics will be offline (there will be a gray circle on the left, and an "X" button on the right.)
- Click the X buttonto remove the device from your account, and then click Remove from Accounton the next screen to confirm

In order to remove Find My iPhone BEFORE sending in your device, follow the simple instructions below:
- Press the Settings icon on your iPhone’s home screen
- Press the iCloud Settings menu
- If the Find My iPhone button is green for ON, press the slider to turn it OFF.
